W.E. Messamore states the pro-life argument very succinctly:
IF: 1. Every human being has the right to live, which should be protected by law,
AND: 2. From the moment of conception, the unborn are human beings,
THEN: 3. The unborn have the right to live, which should be protected by law.
Why then do so many continue to support abortion? Usually they disagree with premise 2. Messamore presents a clear argument as to why that is simply not an option. What is very disturbing are those who openly support premise 1 and 2 and yet reject the conclusion. See comments on Senator Biden at the end of this article.
